I met Leticia and Aaron through my friend and client, Torri! What a great couple! We had a blast and bless Leticia’s heart for walking around downtown in those stunning “killer” shoes! I can’t wait for Leticia’s Bridals, so many wonderful ideas! Here is a sneak peek from there session!
Well, after taking some time with my family after Christmas, and getting some behind the scenes work done, I am back to shooting! There is nothing in the world better than working with my babies! April is documenting her babies first year with me and I look forward to every visit! Kourtlyn is a joy and looks sooooooo much like her momma and big sister! We tried really hard to get her sitting up without assistance, but of course, she decided to wait till the day AFTER her session to do it! Congrats to Kourtlyn on a wonderful milestone! So here is a sneak peek at Kourtlyn’s 6 month session! 
2010 was a super year at Heather Nix Photography! I met a lot of wonderful new clients and got to spend time with my wonderful return clients too! I did take some time off after Christmas, but have been busy changing a few things! First off, I added a whole bunch of new portraits to the main pages of the website! Be sure to go check them out! It made me kind of misty eyed updating the site. What clients don’t know, is that capturing the memories of their family are memories for me also! I have also added a new product! It is called an Accordion Album and is just the neatest little book! I also have added 5 new print collections & will hold 2 mini sessions in Feb! Look for details on the mini sessions later today! I think 2011 is going to be the best year yet!
Joyslynn and her mom, Michelle were my very first repeat clients. Michelle has been a blast go get to know over the last 4 years and Joyslynn is an absolute doll! I look forward to every December, knowing that I will get to see them! So here is sneak peek time!
Lindsey and Cade are just the cutest couple! They have such a great sense of humor with each other! The wedding day was beautiful and so fun! Here are some of my favorites from the day!
Meghan and Ryan came to the studio yesterday for their son’s 6 month session and some family portraits. I love it when they come in, cuz they are so dang fun and Meghan lets me try anything! So here is her sneak peek! You guys ROCK! 
I love Christmas! It is my favorite time of year! I love the lights, music and FOOD! Yummy! The toughest job is figuring out WHAT to get my family and friends! So, I know it isn’t even Christmas yet, but one of my New Years Resolutions is the start using the blog for sneak peeks! Don’t worry, your images will still end up on FB after your Theatre sessions! My goal is to make myself blog because, well, I don’t and I need too!
My first step in my blogging resolution is to give you a peek at the Wilcoxen girls! These are two of the sweetest, hug giving girls I know! I love when they come to the studio! It will always be a fun session!
The other day in Hastings I was at the check out, getting a gift for my nephew’s 4th birthday. A young 7th grade girl came up to me and asked, “Are you Heather Nix?!” I said yes, cuz, well I am! She said to me after she got a huge smile, “I love your stuff on FB! YOOUR sooooo coool!” I have to admit, it made me feel like a rock star!
So, after Jeff teasing me about my new rock starness, I got the idea for a contest! Here is how it is going to work.
